A brand new New Flyer assigned to Comly was involved in a vandalism incident along Roosevelt Blvd early Sunday morning. 5918, covering 1078 block on the 14/20, was deadheading north on the Blvd at Tyson when two youths allegedly threw a tire iron at the bus, damaging the front destination sign screen. Despite the damage, the operator was instructed to continue his trip to Neshaminy Mall and swap buses when he returned to Comly, which is on Bustleton en route to the Bridge-Pratt terminal. It seems it doesn't matter whether the bus is new or not, punks will be punks...
