DART First State reported earlier this morning that several of its routes in the Christiana area of New Castle County were on detour due to Tropical Rainstorm Jeanne. On the 5 and 30, shuttle buses were operating between Newport and Stanton; several bus routes operating along Del. 7 between Old Baltimore Pike and Del. 273 Park-and-ride are not operating, impacting the 23, 34, 40, 54, and 55. In addition, there's no service along Churchman's Rd near New Castle, where a tornado struck the area, damaging an office complex and buildings at NCCo Airport.
NJ Transit is reporting delays of up to 10 minutes on the RiverLINE due to signal problems; there's no word on whether those signal problems are flood related or not. As expected, bus routes in South Jersey operating along the usual flooding spots were severely impacted.
